Willow Farm Park Barn Renovation
City of Longmont
$222,500; When a resident offered the City of Longmont a dilapidated barn, it became the centerpiece of a 13-acre, $1.1 million neighborhood park development. The project included relocation of the barn approximately 1/2 mile onto a new foundation structure, and renovation of the barn into a park shelter with restrooms and maintenance and storage space. The design represents a contemporary update on traditional barn forms and colors, reintroducing sliding barn doors and hinged window shutters into the shelter portion of the structure to allow its use in the evenings.
alm2s worked in association with Design Concepts on this project, and provided full architectural services.
